– the road ahead
Our aim is to give you expert advice from start to finish. Clients approach us with anything from a few vague ideas to a final script ready to be filmed.
What does Video production involve?
In short:
• Designing
• Scripting
• Filming
• Editing
• Duplicating & Distribution
Step 1
We’ll need to get together for a thorough briefing so we can get an appreciation and feel for your organization. This could be at your location, or here at our studio where you can see our facilities.
At this meeting we will want to establish and understand the purpose for the proposed video, the audience it is aimed at and what you are trying to achieve.
The subject matter, script, locations, voice-overs, presenters, and timescales will to be discussed at this point. We will then be able to put forward ideas & treatments for your production together with associated costs, so you can customize your programme to a given budget.
Step 2
Once a budget is established, ATV will produce a draft script utilizing any detailed information we receive from you together with any necessary research. Alternatively, you may already have a draft script & concept in mind. The draft script will then be amended, modified and fine tuned until approved.
Step 3
A shooting script is produced and a filming schedule established.
Step 4
Locations, personnel & props (if required), are agreed and filming takes place.
Step 5
The e diting & post production of the programme is carried out to a ‘First Cut’ stage and an edit approval date set for your first viewing.
Step 6
When all changes & amendments have been made and approved, the distribution format is agreed and the f inal copies are produced & delivered.
